Intro thread not appearing
« on: Yesterday at 05:38 pm »
Hello, I posted the following intro post as required 4 days ago. I appreciate patience is required for the volunteer moderation team to review posts for approval. But i'm just wondering if my post was declined for some reason? - https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=192377.msg2014722#msg2014722

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Hi Melbguy, I approved your post in 13July25 06:29PM, it was not rejected.
Hello and thanks for having me here. I've been an audiophile for 35 years, and into high end audio for the last 16 years. I'm planning to sell my current system and build a fairly simple valve-based system in the near future. Looking forward to sharing that journey with members here, and maybe chat to a few audiophiles in my neck of the woods in Victoria, Australia.

Here is a photo of my current system circa 2015. The major change since then is that I upgraded to Magico S5 Mk2 speakers + SPods.

Hi, ok thank you. The reason for posting this question was that when I viewed the The "Starting Block / Introductions" circle, I could not see my Intro thread appear. I now see that that was due to my post being added to another new member's thread (Bbsrt8), rather than appearing as a separate thread. To avoid confusion for members, is it possible to perhaps move my post to a separate thread?

Correct, you posted inside the Bbsrt8 topic as a reply.
As Iam a plain moderator I have no access to the Split Topic option.

But you could post again your initial post by opening a new topic in the Starting Block Circle while you are in the Newbie status, if you want add several relevant posts to your initial introductory post.

Oh, I apologise for that. What i'll do then is edit my initial post so it's more appropriate, then follow the link you provided to re-post my Intro thread. That's mainly to allow any members to comment or ask any questions. Hope that's ok, thanks.
