Garage sales
« on: Yesterday at 11:31 am »

Yesterday at around the corner from my house at a garage sales I bought this Pioneer in very good condition for 10CND.
At home I tested it and eveything works fine, even the remote is working.
Another good deal !

I always look at the back of consumer grade audio amps.  If they have five way hiding posts I consider them, if they have the push in connectors I pass it by.  Second is a quick Google to check for any reviews.  There, especially with older equipment, it's almost the number of reviews than what they say.  Better units have more people talking.  Out of politeness I didn't look up these items, but for $10 you can hardly go wrong.

I've searched on the Internet for reviews and on Youtube but I did not find anything interesting.
I did more tests to see if all functions are working and they are, including the headphones.
I wanted to try the amplifier with my home cinema speakers (GR Research)
but I have to convert the speakers terminal (5 ways) to push in connectors.
I have a pair of Sony bookshelves speakers, but I want something better.
It's not over yet, I will come back...

P.S. I was surprised to see how the interior was clean, not a spec of dust.
