Latest Wireless ANC Headphones

Hi Guys,

I work in a noisy environment, loud talking etc, well one of the guys is a fog horn and I've told him many times to keep the noise down at work. He's young and still doesn't listen...

In any case I've been using wireless ANC headphones for about 6 years in an office environment. Recently, I came across a couple of deals at Addicted to Audio here in Perth, WA, and I had some spare cash so I bought the following headphones:

1. Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 headphones; and

2. Technics EAH-A800 headphones

Both were on special and were purchased for $200usd or thereabouts.  Whilst listening at the shop I really couldn't decide which one to buy so on the spur of the moment I decided to buy both.  I also have an Astell and Kern AK1000 which I bought on special as well last year for about $650usd.  I've been using the AK as both a Streamer for Tidal and also for convenience using Bluetooth paired from my iPhone. When wired I've been using Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. What do I like about them well they sound great, don't really do anything wrong and are sturdy and hard to break within reason.

After a bit of research I was able to work out that I can use the Streamer and Bluetooth the music to the Technics and Cambridge.  After prolonged listening I much prefer the sound of the Technics however the Cambridge edge them out for ANC.  I am wondering if anyone else has listened to a pair of the newer ANC Bluetooth Headphones and your thoughts as well?

Imo Bluetooth has certainly come a long way in recent years.

I use B&W Px7se2 and love them.  They have really good sound and good NC.  Sony and Bose supposedly have the best ANC but sound quality is not as good as the B&W's.

Hi,

I listened to the B&W px8's after my current purchase. They were a fair bit more expensive but the sound quality was very good. I also listened to a pair of Focal Bathys which sound excellent and far better than my technics or Cambridge ANC headphones.
