Hi, Fritz of Fritz speakers sent me a pair of Carbon 7 speakers to review. I have had them for a few days and they are still breaking in. I will post a full review in about 2 weeks or so when they are more broken in.
My initial impressions are very favorable. I am comparing them to a pair of Arendal 1528 stand mount speakers although, Arendal calls them Bookshelfs.
From the first few notes played, I could tell that the Carbons are an excellent speaker. They do lean a bit to the warmer side. They have very good bass. The midrange is lush, full and warm with detail, air and transparency. The top end is detailed yet smooth and non fatiguing. You can listen all day.
