Thank you for the kind words, these are built one at a time and can be configured with an XLR4 connector.
 I haven't hooked them up to speakers yet, but I have an adapter.
 Also, there's enough room on the back panel for binding posts.
 Customization is possible with these because I start with a raw chassis and cut the holes myself.

I like new production tubes too.
I have buckets of NOS tubes, but that doesn't stop me from trying new stuff.

Just hooked it up to some 93dB speakers, sounds great and plays to a good listening level.
At night when everything is quiet (my preferred time for listening) it would be just fine.
With more efficient speakers it would have plenty of power, and the noise floor is lower than a lot of amps
 and even some preamps, so it should be able to play loud enough, and be quiet enough to disappear.

Correction to my description of the Straitwire SW-1 headphone amplifier.
 I no longer use a stepped attenuator, I had issues with the attenuator I was using, so I switched to an Alps potentiometer.
 So accordingly I have reduced the price to $1,595

I have the prototype up and running.
 It uses a 6SN7 driving 6V6's configured in Triode.
 Once I get it dialed in I'll cut the other chassis and take them to the powder coater.

I have the the proper output transformers, power transformer, and choke now.
The output transformers are made to my specifications for the 6V6 and the power transformer is spec'd to work in this amp, and in pretty much any amp I design in the future.
The new choke is massive but it still fits if I mount it on it's side
I originally built this prototype with power and output transformers that I already had lying around in order to configure the layout while I was waiting on the iron, and to help me determine what the B+ voltages were after rectification in this circuit, so I knew what to spec the high voltage winding at.
I'm finalizing the power supply now.
