Over the past several years I have acquired a number of Jazz records put out by these organizations. And they have largely impressed me a great deal.
Tone Poet is picking up where Music Matters Jazz left off, but only with 33-1/3 reissues. The sound quality is excellent and the pressing quality is generally excellent. They focus on Blue Note label releases. They pay attention to production quality and have invested accordingly, including cable. List price is a reasonable $38.95 and discounts are often available.
The Analog Productions focuses on Verve original releases. I’ve picked up some stunning Oscar Peterson titles, including “ We Get Requests”. Pressing quality generally very good.
And the Craft Original Jazz Classics releases are also not to
Be missed. Lots of fine stuff including recordings by Sarah Vaughan, Cliff Brown ( Do not miss Sara Vaughan with Cliff Brown!)
AP and Craft rekeases are also at the $39 mark
Well worth the effort to seek these out. It won’t be hard - most are readily available!
