I am still very happy with the beautiful sound of my CAMs, but I have concerns about the stability of the Isoacoustics Iso-Stand 155 supports. For instance, if the speaker is tilted downward, about 4 degrees? Wouldn't want those cabinets sliding off and onto the floor!

Won't the speakers fall down?

I own a pair of the IsoAcoustics stands. I've used them for years without incident. The contact surface between the speaker bottom and the circular 'post' is rubber or silicon (don't know which) that is slightly cupped. This contact surface is very grippy and holds onto my speakers very nicely. It is not a slippery surface.

In silver, the black silicon/rubber top layer is very visible. [The 155 models have this same membrane.] Scroll down to the spot that shows the three Aperta sizes.

I use one as a center channel stand (and I believe the center channel is 61 pounds). I also use their Gaia feet on my main speakers.
