This won't directly answer your question, but I think you'll still find it helpful.
Back in 2013 or 2014 (don't recall which), I got to listen to a pair of Synchrony Two tower speakers at Stereotypes Audio in Portland, OR. The Twos are the little brother speakers to the Ones. I think they were driven by a (then) top of the line SimAudio Moon amplifier. I was stunned by how great they sounded. I bought them on the spot. I
think I bought that demo pair, so I got a nice discount.
I got them home and set them up with my much less expensive entry-level HT amplifier in our family room. I expected them to sound every bit as wonderful as they did in the showroom in Portland. <drum roll> They sounded like crap - just horrible. I was shocked. I didn't understand why they sounded like crap. No matter how I adjusted their positions, they still sounded like crap speakers. I ended up selling them a few months later.
Back then, I didn't understand anything about room acoustics nor why a $150 cheapo HT all-in-one 5.1 HT amp didn't sound every bit as wonderful as a top-of-the-line SimAudio Moon amp driven by a similarly awesome preamp. Yeah, I was seriously ignorant.

<Me noob!> Slowly, I learned about amps, preamps, Class A, AB, D, and cabling. I came to understand that my family room was designed by someone who must have been tone deaf. It doesn't matter how good the speakers and electronics are, that room sounds like shit. I'd burn it down, but I still live in that house.

A few years later, my wife <foolishly> permitted me to set up my audio system in the formal living room....and I learned the importance of room shape; listening position, and room treatments. My audio system is still in my formal living room where it sounds wonderful.
Anyway, if I had set those Synchrony Two speakers in the livingroom back then - even with that crappy HT amp - I quite likely would have kept them and eventually would have upgraded my components.
If you place the Synchrony One speakers in a good room; power them with reasonably good quality amp/pre/DAC, etc, I think you'll really enjoy the soundstage, timber, bass, 3D imaging, etc. Definitely
don't power them with a piece of garbage $150 HT amp.
