Hi All,

I'm excited to announce that we will soon start construction on our new Tortuga Audio studio/workshop here in Bend, Oregon. This will become Tortuga Audio's new home.  :thumb:

We've started construction on the new Tortuga Audio shop. The slab foundation has been poured and is currently curing. Framing starts in July.

The shop is really coming along. This is a pic from a few weeks ago as the windows were going in. The roof gets installed this week. Siding/trim gets started in December. The electrical should be done in another week or so. Then it's time to insulate.

I'm acting as my own general contractor so I've had my hands full with all things construction related.  Took over a year to go through the design and permitting process but that's not unusual. Work got started in earnest in late May when we took down several large Ponderosa Pine trees. By mid July we had our foundation in. August/Sept saw the framing go up. It's a lot of work to manage.

Meanwhile works has continued for Tortuga Audio with focus on refining the V4. In the interim I've re-designed the add-on solid state buffer board for the V4. It's performance is now really impressive. I also put together a high performance 5 volt power supply. I went through a crazy number of iterations with that power supply but ended up with a classic linear design that is dead quiet and really brings out the best in the V4.

I'm looking forward to getting the Tortuga shop up and running and moving operations into the building so I can focus once more on the audio and not the building that the audio goes in.

Cheers,
Morten
