Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely look into it.  Seems similar to the Crown K1 & K2 which also would probably be great choices.

the crown, w/damping of >3,000 from 10hz to 400hz, is a killer amp for sure.  but it will run ~twice the price of the qsc amps.  i don't know if the cost difference is worth it or not...

Eric, the only knock on the QSC amps are that they have a fan.  

You can buy some low DB fans that are difficult to hear, but the fans included with the amps can be a distraction.
