I would like to thank Marc Phillips for not only for this wonderful review, but for his tribute to Frank as well.

I agree Mary, it is both a good review and nice tribute to Frank.

While not regarding the amp, the following quote got my attention, because I kind of know the feeling:

"I won’t mention speakers because, as an audiophile with about 50 years of experience, I have plenty of speakers at my house. They just seem to multiply on their own, in the shadows."

I had to laugh, as thought I was holding steady with only 14 pairs of speakers, but a trip to the basement to do laundry yesterday revealed a 15th. pair that I had forgotten about.

Anyway, back to the topic - it sounds like this amp will go down as most AVA products - an excellent performer and screaming bargain. I don't have one of your power amps, but I can attest to the amazing performance and value of my T10-RB preamp.

If anybody is reading this and is wondering about how good AVA products are, please read the reviews - the one that Mary linked and every other one that you can find.  I honestly don't recall anyone ever saying a negative thing.  The same can be said in spades for Frank himself.  He is so missed by so many.

Great review and supports the best audio gear purchases I made for my needs and budget. I have elite audiophile needs on a mortal's budget. Nicely done AVA Team!
