I'm guessing there have to be some people out there doing this. I have a beautiful, custom finished pair of CAM's that I bought from Loua couple years back. Absolutely perfect in my 12x10 room.
It has been a dream of mine to put together a Triode lab preamp and a pair of their mono-blocks to pair with the CAM's. I just purchased a lightly used preamp and will be looking for some sanely priced, used monoblocks to appear for sale over the rest of the year, hopefully not too much longer than that.

The Triode Lab amplifiers output between 2wpc and 4.5wpc. With 45 based amps providing the lower power numbers and 2a3 based amps the higher ones. I would be interested to hear people's experiences driving them with these low power sets.

I heard two different systems using Triode Lab preamps and mono-blocks a few years back in Montreal. First at an audio show, and afterwards, at a brick and mortar audio store. Granted, they were driving different speakers, though not far off the sensitivity of the CAM's) and the music playback was simply heartbreakingly beautiful.

Well, with absolutely zero replies, after all this time,  about using low watt sets with CAM's, perhaps what I hoped to do isn't truly possible. If there isn't anyone here doing it, it seems unlikely. Really unfortunate.

There are endless threads about using SET and other low powered amps in this circle.  The consensus is that they work beautifully.

My amplifier is a Cary Audio 300 SEI and it puts out I think 11 watts. The CAMs I bought from Omega are in my house sound so good that I am finding no reason to change out my amp for the first time since I bought it over ten years ago. The combination is extremely satisfying for me!Ted

I think maybe you’re not getting many replies because low power SETs have been a go-to recommendation for Omegas from basically the beginning. There’s LOTs of info in the Omega Circle about this. One of the most popular and recommended SETs (with Omegas) is the Decware Zen which outputs 2 wpc. Skme people have even successfully used headphone amps that output maybe 1/2 a watt with Omegas.

   Pretty much the whole point for high efficiency full/wide range speaker without crossover like those from Omega are made to work well with low power amp like tube amps especially with SET amps.

   Of course you are not limited to low power tube amps... you can use low power class A SS amp or even high power Class D amps. But mainly people who like simpler lower power tube amp would likely be using this type of speakers.

  I don't have Omega speaker. But my single driver speaker are 94dB sensitivity and I have two SET amps 18wpc and 37wpc... I don't think I've go over 3 watt per channel in my 10'x17' with 8.5' ceiling even when I push it to 94dB peak at my listening seat. No, I don't listen to music at that level all the time... mostly 84-86dB peak.

   Anyway, there is magic with the combination of SET and single driver without xover... especially with female voice.
