I am the third owner of a pair of VSA VR-4jr mk1 speakers. I want to replace the ferrofluid in the tweeters given the age of the speakers and my desire to keep them functioning as long as possible. I have done this procedure successfully on 2 pairs of Thiels. In that case, I was able to find out the exact model of ferrofluid that should be used per manufacturer spec.
Does anyone know what manufacturer and model of ferrofluid is used in the VR4jr's tweeters?
Bonus question: Who manufactured the tweeter drivers - Vifa or Scanspeak?
