Unfortunately,  I'm done with the Meilenstein's exhaustive listening sessions required to determine the best possible set-up points and bias.......which means that I'll be packing up the amps and ship them out to Mike G. tomorrow night...............................dam mit.

But before I do so,  I'll take pics and post them with explanations...........

Seriously,  be prepared to be "wowed"

HI Klaus,

Looking forward to hearing more, and don't forget me, I am on the list.

Hopefully first 5?

I can be patient only because the current Kismets sound so good.

:)

Alright...............

I just came back from the airport,  shipping the amps (wayyyy early in the morning) via SWA cargo to Mike.   all 160 lbs of them.

They're gone now,  sniff.....

In the next few posts are some pics that I took yesterday......explanations and some technical data will follow........

This is a bit of a mess,  as in the past couple of weeks I did a ton of tests, comparisons, and physical move-arounds with 6 different amps, and 5 different speakers.......

apologies for the clutter.  This was my final check-up on biasing.  I used:

VPI  Avenger Direct tt with Graham Elite and the VPI Gimball arms......vandenHul Reference / Symphonic Line Ref. Phono Stage  as well as  a DS Audio Grand Master EX with the Master Energizer.
2nd turntable is the Symphonic Line RG 6 with a Kuzma 4 point and a SL RG 8 Gold cartridge,  also going into the SL stage.

CD Player is the SL Belcanto Reference

Preamp pictured is the Symphonic Line Erleuchtung Ref.   I also used a Candela, a Tempest,  and a Convergent Audio Technologies.

Cables are pretty much all Magnan.

Pictured are 2 of the speakers used...my Grand Temples and the big Raidho.

----------------------------------------

So,  this is part of the systems used in final setups,  which took me well over 20 hours of intense listening over a couple of weeks to achieve.  ( I can't listen to more than a couple of songs at a time before losing absolute judgement)

And some detail pics, including the insane Neutron connectors and cables that I had to custom make.......The XLR's and other connectors didn't cut it,  as the new power supply board puts out 70 amps to the main board...........so,  the big guns had to come out..........

"Where's the beef?"
