Hi, it was a sad day to hear of Frank VanAlstine passing.Here is a picture of my bedroom speakers I made using ideas from Franks Audio Basics.These are Woodstyle 502 cabinets,I still have an untouched pair in the box.I lined these speaks with Plastastine modeling clay,never hardens.I lined each speaker with 25 to 30 pounds of clay,as directed by Frank in Audio Basics,his news letter and project monthly paper. Audex 8 inch coax’s are the drivers.The name tag has my initials wood burned in with my soldering iron on a stained piece of a paint stick stirrer. It sits on 2 milk crates I swiped out at my favorite taverns dumpster zip tied together.1 has Stereophiles and one has Absolute Sounds inside for shelving and stand ballast.My amp is a Dyna ST 35 that I rewired from top to bottom.I forgot 1 thing, to ground the new gold jacks.It played Pat Boones April Love and no music source was connected.Frank or Wayner,a great guy who worked for Frank discovered my error and finally checked the tubes.They were the wrong ones snuck in by the original seller.Frank and team spiffed it all up and it plays proudly in my room as a salute to Frank….and Wayne.

Hi AllanS, sorry about those pictures being sideways.Thanks for fixing that up.You the man.I have a Variovent on the back and used a 1/2 inch of modeling clay for the speaker gasket…Mark Korda
