I currently use a 6B SST to power three Dynaudio contour 20's in my family room. For now I am replacing the FL and FR Dynaudio mains with Focal Diablo Utopia Colour Evo speakers. When my wallet recovers, I may replace the third Contour 20 used as a center channel with a Focal Diablo Utopia. I use a pair or subwoofers with the mains so they won't need to handle subwoofer duty. I plan on keeping the single Dynaudio CC for now though I know it may not blend well with the Focal's. I have a dedicated theater for critical movie watching so not too worried about the mismatch for now. That may change once I get everything set up.

Two channel is the priority. I use an Anthem STR preamp for two channel and put the STR in bypass mode to share the mains and subwoofers for TV with a Denon AVR.

I assume the 6B SST will work well but with this pricy speaker change want to confirm.

I also have a 7B ST and a 4B ST in another room I can repurpose but assume the 6B SST is still my best option.

I cannot comment on the speakers as I never have heard them, but I love the 6B SST!

I also felt that the SST has been a big step from the ST line.
Even the late ST amps, like the 9B ST, were a big step forward, IMHO.
At one point, I had a 4B ST and a 9B ST in my system, and to my ears, the 9B ST clearly sounded better than the 4B ST, all other components identical.

I expect the 6B SST will work great. I've also decided to go ahead and order a third Diablo for center channel use while in Home Theater Bypass mode on my preamp. This has worked nicely on my current Dynaudio Contour 20 three speaker configuration. Two channel is the priority but I do like having three identical speakers for FL, CC, FR for Home Theater use. Thank you.

I am convinced that it will work great!

I am currently using three 6B SSTs in my home theater, one of them for the three identical Dynaudio Contour S 1.4 behind the acoustically transparent screen. So we are thinking along the same line, I think.
