I'd love to see a tribute page to Frank. That pic of him with Berkley is priceless.

A fan/customer driven page/site of course. Mary and the rest of the AVA folks have their hands full. I'd contribute what I could but my html expertise is practically nil. Years ago and the most rudimentary of  implementations.

A great loss, he inspired trust and confidence in those he helped

I just read this. I´m shocked and sad.

I had the honor to meet him in 2014. If he could just tell us that "everything is okay here" wherever he is...

Very sad news.
I talked Frank's ear off when I was ordering my Omega III EC preamp years ago.
Went through each option and helped me match it with the equipment I had.
He was a wealth of knowledge and will be missed.

Rest well Frank.

Many times Frank answered the phone when I called, always helpful. Met him once at an audio show in Detroit prolly 10 or more years ago.

My college roommate sent me some an old ST-70 Dynaco amp that I then sent to Frank for reworking. It had been stored in his garage in Marblehead MA for a number of years. When I called Frank to have it sent back when he was done with it he told me he did all he could to make it look better (Mary did polishing work also). He said to me, "looks like it was stored in a garage on the East Coast." As usual he was dead on!

So sorry to hear this. Add me to the long list of folks who found Frank's approach to this business to be exactly what I had been looking for: no-nonsense, pragmatic, and honest; and my handful of interactions with him were all pleasant and informative. He certainly leaves behind a legacy anyone would be proud of.

Hi,

So sad news. How are the AVA staff going in these difficult times?

All the best.

More pics please! Maybe some of Young Frank-Van-Stine (couldn't resist) and the shops/factory.
