I’m attempting to diagnose a power issue with a TECHNICS SU-G95 Integrated Amplifier,  where the device will not accept mains voltage.  When 120V AC is applied, the relay on the main transformer board
(REP1741A-P) rapidly cycles closed then open about twice per second, with a quick dim-bulb, weak flash.
Assuming a short to ground,  I cannot find the causal component.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

When my JVC receiver cycled that way it was the power switch that was bad due to repeated arcing.
