BDA-3 DAC very low output
« on: 24 Jan 2025, 11:08 pm »
I have a 4.5 yr old BDA-3 and having not used it for a while have found that the output of the RCA & XLR is very low. The volume needs to be almost at max before anything is audible.

Have tested on two amps, a Devialet and Sugden A21a2 and both are the same.

Did notice that in the firmware instruction it has screenshot of the web interface with a volume slider and in one of the appnotes it says an init will reset the "vol" parameters so it needs to be manually set to "vol=255" after.

Is it possible that being not used for so long it has reset itself?

The volume slider on the web interface was set to '25' sliding it to 100 has fixed.

Does changing the volume/output level get saved to the config if done via the web interface?

Is there a way of making the volume/output level permanent as it's reverting back to 25% after a reboot or when powered off/on?
