Paul,
Thank you, That is a great comment and more than I expected, so true... I am always looking to improve, but I believe I am only fooling myself most of the time... It seems I like to "play" around with "stuff" (that's what keeps me young)... I may not need to change a thing, I should just sit back and enjoy... I really like the Aragon amp because of the detail is has... So I would want something between the Aragon and a great tube amp...HMMM???
Thanks!

My current system, 1 of the main ones, has a tubed pre amplifier, connected to an integrated parallel SET amps that run into a pair of horn/TL speakers with 2-3” drivers.  The source is a turntable with a Lyra cartridge… the preamp is from 2002-3, the speakers are from 2018… the amp I had someone make for me.
So… this is the latest iteration of what I can call my momentary nirvana, but it can also change on the moment.  What I have learned from having some many pieces that I can swap and replacement and put in here and there is that there are many ways of arriving at the momentary nirvana we all seek.

I mean… one day I was cruising eBay and in the addiction feed I somehow wound up checking out some echo equalizers that were popular in Japanese systems and I wound up purchasing a Pioneer unit with an interesting 3D visual display with a variable reverb/delay function.  I hocked it up to my other system… made out of a VanDenHul preamplifier made by a Dutch outfit…. Into a Bakoon power amp/integrated, and this into a pair of Closer Ogy speakers… the source of a vintage Magnavox or Sony Cdp… I play some popular Japanese cd and it is such a blast listening to this system itself.  I turn off the light and let it simply glow in the dark.

These are the moments I enjoy, getting lost with some decent tunes.

However you reach your nirvana, once you get there you will know.
