Salk Sound website back on line

Yes, we were able to locate a low cost server and have transferred all the web site files and databases to this new server.  So for at least the next two years, the site is online!

Let me know if you have any issues accessing the new server.

Thanks,

- Jim

Thanks Jim, as always the Gentleman. I'm sure many will appreciate the access to the archived information this will provide. Best wishes for 2025, and whatever new projects you & Mary may have in progress.

Great!
I do not see the Song3-A and the site does not correctly sort some speakers into correct categories. Love seeing this up though.

I’ve added a few more new components since my 2022 Salk purchase but the speakers are far and away the stars of the system and undoubtedly the most important system upgrade. Seek out Salk Speakers if lucky enough to find them used!

I bought my Salk 'forever' speakers last summer (used Salk Sound BeAT's) after ordering what I thought were going to be forever, much more expensive, speakers from another manufacturer. I'm upset at myself for finding out too late how incredible Salk speakers truly are.  These speakers check all the boxes and never cease to put a smile on my face.  i hope the sun shines on Jim each day in his retirement for bringing such audio happiness!

I fixed the missing Song3-A.  If you notice something missing or a link that does not work properly, let me know and I'll fix it.  That said, it may take a while as I'm leaving today and won't be back until the end of the month.

Jim would you be able to put the model I bought: the V3?  I can't find it on the website.

Jim, If you go to the big Island be sure and go to the Botanical garden on the coast near Hilo. Probably the prettiest place I have ever seen. Also, check out Ken's Pancake House in Hilo.   https://bigislandguide.com/hawaii-tropical-botanical-garden

Hydro -

I did go to the Botanical Garden. It was definitely something to see. We had an excellent unplanned excursion while there as well. The Kīlauea volcano, the most active in the world, only erupted for 24 hours last year. It erupted the first day we were there so we drove up the next morning to see it. Pretty awesome.  The next day it stopped. So our timing was perfect.
