Bought this pre from original owner in 2017 iirc. First owner said it was one year old. I never had any problems or issues with it.
It has a phono stage which i never tried, but i have read it is very good.
This is the second Perseus i have had -- lots of good sound and value from a reasonably priced preamp.
Basic metal remote -- volume up or down.
I have factory packing and manual. Rogue is still in business if needed, which is a good thing.
Pre uses four 12au7 tubes. At this time i have RCA blackplates in the front two positions, and RCA cleartops in the back two positions. This sounds better imo than the JJ 802's that came with the pre. The RCA's were purchased from Brent Jesse Supply -- expensive tubes, but i don't remember the cost ......... i will include all these tubes ...
Retail cost of these magnums long ago was $2200.
