Hi All,
  It seems DDC's and streamers are all the rage and I'm wondering if updating would be worth it.  My streamer is an old (old?) Roon, to an Auralic Aries with the FEMTO clock via ethernet, going to a Yggdrasil via AES.  I noticed the improvement in clarity and timing immediately when I first put it in the system, so I think Aries must have a good clock.  I've read that the newer generations of the Aries are somewhat better and then there are the multitude of bang for the buck streamers getting stellar reviews.  I'm not sure if getting one of these streamers or a DDC would really make much of an improvement.
Any advice?

Your question never got an answer, but I'm interested in this topic as well.

I've recently been looking at the Singxer SU-6 digital to digital converter and the Holo Audio Red DDC & Network streamer, and I wonder how much they differ. Which one best suits my needs? Is the DDC in the Holo Audio Red as good as the DDC in the Singxer SU-6?

I'm looking for a really good yet not too expensive DDC (under $1000 USD). What suggestions have people got?

I had a Denafrips Gaia DDC at one point, and it made a noticeable improvement -- similar to a cable upgrade. Since it's an expensive tweak, I won't buy another DDC. Instead, I put my money into beefing up the power supply in my Eversolo streamer.

Well, hello there, Early B!

I've been meaning to get in touch with you. Ever since you told me about your super rectifier, I have continuosly maintained an open tab to the Space-Tech Lab website. I haven't bought anything yet, but I very likely will soon after I'm back in the States (in just 7 days!).

I'd forgotten that Denafrips sells a DDC. I need a DDC to interface between my Apple computer and my SW1X tube DAC. Hm. Hmm! I just took a look at the back panel of the Eversolo Streamer and noticed the coaxial in and out connections. Me thinks I could bypass the need for a DDC if I bought a streamer with coaxial in & out. Hmm. I'd probably want to run a wired connection from my router to the streamer....or is wireless good enough?

Yes, wireless is good enough. I've done both. In my case, there was no performance difference between wired and wireless. I'm currently hardwired from one of my router mesh units to the Eversolo.
