I’m getting my music right now through Apple TV it’s going HDMI to my old Pioneer Plasma and then optical out to my Lyngdorf TDAI-2170. Before I invest in a streamer or setup a computer for a separate digital input for music is there any reason I shouldn’t be able to get hi-res music through a new Apple TV? I would expect it to be best using apps directly but also via airplay I don’t think it does anything via bluetooth but I’m not sure if there are any hardware or software limitations at the source with the Apple TV versus a Wiim streamer for example. Just trying to keep things as simple as possible I don’t mind using the one input for everything. Thanks
