I want to give a huge shoutout and thanks to @bafuku and Louis.
After a long journey, I'm finally immersed in the music from these new speakers! I've got a whole story to tell about them. I created this account specifically for this pair—I was just browsing Google for some info on SAX HO when I stumbled across them. I've owned a pair of old SAX for a while, and I've loved them—not just because they were my first floor-standing speakers, but because they easily outshined everything else I tried at my friend's home or Best Buy. After a year with the SAX, my curiosity grew about the SAX HO version. My friend Van told me they were newer and even better.
I was originally a headphone fanatic, and most of my favorite pairs are older than I am. But I was totally hooked on the SAX, so when I found @bafuku’s post, I was excited—especially when I realized he wasn’t too far from me. I drove over that same week, and we had a great conversation about those speakers. However, once I got home, I noticed one of the speakers was making some noise. It was disappointing not to be able to fully enjoy them at first.
Thankfully, @bafuku responded to my message right away. While he wasn’t sure how to fix the issue himself, he offered to contact Louis for help—and even offered to cover the cost. When we reached out to Louis, though, he was out of drivers, so I had to wait for a new one to arrive 😔. Finally, today, I had the chance to take the speaker to Louis. His workshop was amazing, and I was so impressed by the craftsmanship he puts into everything. Louis replaced the driver, and now the speakers sound incredible!
Throughout this whole process, both @bafuku and Louis went above and beyond to help me get these speakers up and running in my living room. I’m definitely sticking with Omega Speakers for the long haul (at least until a new flagship XRS comes out...maybe 😄).
