Just discovered I can use my Beyerdynamics Custom Studio Headphones with my Smartphone. Yes there is a headphone jack on the bottom, that is where I plug my portable Bluetooth headphone amp GVaudio, that powers these headphones.
This allows me to do a more direct comparison between these and my ear buds using same EQ settings. I suppose I could do this with my PC but can't reach desired volume level with the ear buds.
What I'm hearing is Wow, these cans are good!!
Downside is I can't lay in bed on my side as I can with ear buds. Have to lie flat looking at the ceiling and I'm tethered to headphone amp. I suppose though I can plug the headphone amp into any wall outlet and listen laying in my other bed downstairs. :smoke:

I have a headphone port on my phone as well, but use a DAC-amp dongle for better fidelity.  It attaches through the USB port. I guess I should update that as it's an old Sabaj DA2, but it sounds fine to me and I don't even notice it's there such is the light weight of the thing.

Silly me, I don't need the headphone port. The GVaudio headphone amp connects by bluetooth, I just plug headphones into the amp port. :duh:
