The TV and entertainment thing are also going away.

Equipment will be down low on the floor with the MX-R monos spaced wherever they need to be.  I have a pair of 3.5M Cardas Clear Reflection XLR that I can have them trim to fit so it's all buttoned up.

Looking at a short throw projector setup with some way to be able to R&R screen.

This is getting really fun now...

This also changes my plan for subs as now open baffle subs are back in play.  With the room 30'+ x 30'+ with 10'+ ceilings, I guess that will mean starting with a pair of Triples.  Probably go with Jay's modular cabinets so I can keep stacking them.

Great room. Great setup.

Thank you.  Still on the gas and figuring out how I'm going to place things / route interconnects to amps given the 3.5M Pair of Cardas Clear Reflection I have.  Last night the Nimitz Class Entertainment center left port.  My 25 year old Target rack was called up.  The MX-R monos don't fit so I need the stands I mentioned and they will be on the ground, amps on the ground, amps on the ground...

Leaving the top rack shelf "clear" because, (A) it's always tempting to put something on top of a piece of equipment, like a wrench, and 2) I want to have a shelf on top where I can swap in stuff I'm playing with easily - like that AX-7e integrated amp while the other gear is set aside.

A pair of 2x4 Mr T Acoustic panels to make a 4x4 will fit pretty well hanging on the TV.  Those panels either side are 8' tall.  When we had the house built 20 years ago I had them put power up high on the wall, for a projector screen.  I also had them run HDMI and put power in the ceiling further back in the room, to mount a projector.  Been workin' hard payin' for it... now maximum enjoyment.

I'd like to have full treatment and a motorized screen that comes down in front of it.  And then... sometimes I'd like to have an 80" TV for a big picture that doesn't involved "projector / bulb stuff", and just hang stuff on the TV (which is a little clunky too).

I think about these things and eventually get to what I want... being patient and following the path that seems to feel right.

So, "where to put this extra equipment"....

I have 2 Apple TVs.  One runs the TV, the other is an older gen with the Optical Output, which works great as a streaming unit for Pandora, Optical out into the QX-5 Twenty.

Then... internet modem / WiFi router / Cell Booster... and I want it all connected via Ethernet.

That Medusa is going to take some work to figure out.  Ethernet Cables... checkout Blue Jeans Cable for ethernet cables.  They custom make to size but, bigger than that... they test them.  They have a nice writeup about how poorly most ethernet cables test, many not meeting spec.

Bottom line, I have to figure out how to route all wire and try to make it clean.

Also, you'll notice the custom laundry basket and used USPS box.  I need a little Miniature Pinscher Fence... there is speaker wire hanging low there and that is a disaster waiting to happen.  So, I need some sort of nice little fence to make a No Go Zone.

Said like someone who’s been there.  Gotta laugh outta that.
Great to see a plan coming together!
