Any recommendations for a USB C terminated 5 volt LPS for a WiiM Pro Plus?

How long a cable do you need? Monoprice has USB C cables from 1.5' to 10'. Snip off the end you don't need.

From experience I know a linear PS can make a big difference in the SQ of DAC's, amps and pre-amps.

Might we expect the same degree of improvement with a streamer?

Is the Acoplan 5EB200 in the link a switch mode power supply? Linear power supplies are generally quieter and produce less noise as they don't switch on and off.

I have a Meanwell which is one of the better SMPS but it doesn't compare to my Astron linear regulated. I paid $35 for the Astron on eBay in this picture. It's massive and heavier than most amplifiers.

WGH - Thanks for the cable tip. I found a USB C wiring diagram so now I feel comfortable using a modified cable.

Poultrygeist - I am using the DAC in my WiiM streamer so I should hear an improvement in my setup.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Fosi ZD3 DAC on sale for $150 at Amazon and considering its multitude of features I believe it would qualify as C&C. I spent some time with it before adding the low profile 12V Astron linear regulated PSU ( bottom left ) so the difference would be more recognizable and what a difference it was. I would be shocked if the Sparkos op amps I plan to add in the future would provide anywhere close to a comparable upgrade.
