AvantGarde horn speakers

Looking for upgrade suggestions for Avantgarde Uno series 2 speakers (20 years old) to get the best out of bi-amping them. Thanks.

This thread should be relocated to a Circle that deals with speakers.

This Circle is called Karma, as in giving an item away to others for good karma.

They don't fit into the usual box speaker categories so I doubt there's very much experience in modding these speakers on these pages.  I'd guess that maybe the crossover might be looked at, but that's only a guess.  What qualities are you looking to improve?

The Uno is already bi-amped. You supplied the amp for the two horns and the built-in amp powers the woofers. I think better results can be obtained by upgrading the components in the horn crossovers.

Around 2004 I have listened the Uno for some hours in a large music room at a local audiophile home with top BAT and DCS equips, so I could recommend dont fix what is not broken IMO.

If one like horns there is no much better than the Uno, I dont like horns but I must say these AvantGarde horns dont have the usual duck voice from the PP plastic cornets.
