Radian Audio LT2.2 planar tweeter for dipole use

Trying out the new Radian Audio LT2.2 tweeter modified for dipole use.  Here are before and after pictures of the rear of the driver after modification.

Next is a simple baffle to check them out as dipoles.

Hello HAL!

Very interesting, I am looking to build a three-way active speaker with the LM10N and the LT2.2 from Radian with the open baffle configuration. I already have my woofer for the bass and mid-bass.

I read many of your posts about radian speaker and I am curious if you have any dispersion measurement without the wave guide. For some reason, the datasheet only shows the dispersion with the waveguide.

Thank you!

I have not done any dispersion measurements of the LT2.2 planar tweeters at this time.

Getting ready for the CAF2024 show, so this will be late November before I start looking at them.  Before that, will be trying the LT3.2 tweeter in an existing baffle.

I just ordered 2 LM10 and 2 LT2.2 in open back configuration. Will try this and see how it sound and measure.

Hello. Very interested in any updates on this, as I am gathering information on the LM10N & LT2.2 combo in a dipole/OB configuration.
