Good morning,

I am thinking about wall mounting my turntable. I sure I can make one out of wood but I would rather have a metal bracket for stability and minimal material used to hold the platform up. 

Is there a brand out there that does decent wall mount furniture or is this more of a DIY type of thing?

Pro-Ject and Rega both make several models of wall mount TT shelves.
Also Solidsteel and Pangea.

Of course you can DIY anything if you have the abilities.

Try to mount it on a wall location that is directly over foundation structure, whether the outside perimeter of house or over an internal  foundation support column. Near a corner is also helpful as the other wall stiffens the mounting wall near the corner.
