Any suggestions services or alternatives that are not a small fortune?

Are you looking to watch out-of-market games in the US?

Or located outside of the US?

Really just my team. I only use streaming services. Just don't want to pay 80+ per month for nfl or Fubo.

If your team is local then you can get an antenna and watch it on one of the local stations.

If the team is not in your area then there's no legal way around paying for the NFL Game Pass (which is an add-on for Youtube TV).

Of course, there are online services that advertise illegal sports streaming, but, in addition to breaking the law, that would entail handing credit card info to a criminal enterprise.

I haven't checked recently but on NFL dot com, you used to be able to pay for just your team. Also, they give big discounts after half/most of the season is over.

Paramount for CBS games is $7 or $8.  Peacock for the NBC Sunday night game is $8.  Fox and ESPN are only available on one of those high priced bundles like Sling, Hulu, etc, but you then get the CBS and NBC included.  NFL+ has a lot of the games on your phone or tablet for around $6, but I haven't been able to figure out how they decide which ESPN or local games they pick.  Prime comes with the Thursday night game.  As noted a good indoor antenna will bring most local games in if you don't live far out in the country like I do.

FYI, there are DVRs that record over the air signals. Search OTA DVR to learn more.

I don't use their over-the-air DVRs, but I do use another device that's been great:

I think they do charge some fee (not sure how much) for the DVR.

Where I live, over-the-air would be tough, as the transmitters are pretty far away and there are tall trees everywhere.

How are you getting content? I thought Silicon Dust used OTA tuners as the content source.
