Great game last night marred by Tampa Bay's monumental stupidity at the end of regulation and the refs blowing yet another critical call. TB decided to try and use up Atlanta's timeouts then kick a field goal going up six points. Fine, until the blown call when their center rightly got called for holding and the refs blew an obvious facemask that took them out of field goal range. It should have been offsetting penalties and down over, but instead they went back ten yards out of range. The idiots then just ran the ball to take away nearly meaningless timeout. Why not throw underneath and get back enough yards to go for the FG? And earlier in the series they threw a screen pass for a loss when they had an easy touchdown. But they punted and Cousins did a great job moving quickly down the field for the tying FG, then winning in overtime. Certainly Cousins and the Falcons deserve credit for keeping the shout-out game close and winning in the end, they deserved it. But TB gave them the opportunity on a silver platter by being morons.

Some good games today. Commanders continue their great season, cowgirls lose,lions beat puckers , aints lose to panthers.

Nice to see the NFL putting the screws to the Lions again with the rediculous ejection of probably top 3 safety in the NFL right now. Should have been penalized but ejected ??? If the Lions make a trade for a DE look out NFL!

My Iggles nearly sh*t the bed HC Siriani left 8 pts off the board trying to be aggressive. Dip sh*t nearly lost the game for us. Nice to see Dallas playing down to their potential

When I lived in Philly Howard Eskin, the noted sportswriter there, called cowgirl fans cock-a-roaches because they ran and hid when the lights were turned on. I've lived all over the country and Philly is the only city that has a large contingent of fans of the hated rival team living there, born and raised there, who've never been to Dallas in their life. Oddest thing I've ever seen . At least the Iggles didn't play down to their opponent, they put a whoppin on em.

Yeah I don’t get it either! I’ve lived in S Jersey my whole life (kinda sad when ya think about it) and it’s so true what you wrote. My brother has that same recessive personality trait. We were young when Landry and Co were winning Super Bowls so I guess that’s what caused his mental issue?

Then during the Jimmy Johnson era a whole other group of young guys lost their sanity. Such a shame, but the cheerleaders are ok

Oh and Eskin is a clown in a fur coat! Love his commentary as it always sparks some heated discussion, fun to listen to.

Born and grew up in Delco, I am a long suffering Eagles fan also. I moved to Delaware a long time ago and mostly understood the variety of fans here. Some were Eagles fans, some Baltimore and some Washington, but I never understood the why there were so many Dallas fans. Unless you are from the Dallas area, I think it must be a character flaw!

Interesting replies with regards to Philly area fans routing for the Cowgirls, to a lesser extent I've seen the same thing around here with Niners support as well. My family moved here (37 miles west of Philly) in the late sixties when I was in High School and the only team I've been able to really get behind is the Phillies. I think part of the issue is the fact that of all the cities that have the 4 major sports teams Philly has the least (or close to it) number of championships since the beginning of the Super Bowl era.

Not so much it seems. While the offense struggled a bit they soon took control with Barkley crushing it. Thanks again Giants, every Eagles fan owes every Giants fan a beer for bitching about him for years.

We can all thank Josh Allan for eliminating the possibility of hearing the Chief's unbeaten season saga (ad nauseam). It would have however, competed nicely with the drowning Domino Pizza & Medicare ads.

The Grey Cup (CDN Superbowl with our weird 3 down game on a 110 yard field with 20 yard endzones) was a good game again.

Was sad to see Winnipeg lose their 3rd straight, but was happy the local Argo's got it done!

I hear ya, I remember the late great Tim Russert who hoped and prayed the Bills would win one SB before either of his parents died, sadly that didn't happen for his parents or Tim. At 70 plus I'm not holding my breath either .........
