Does anyone remember the Oxford Accousitcs Crystal Reference turntable that was on the front cover of HiFi Choice (top UK magazine from 30 yrs ago)
It has a column of concrete and iron to add mass and clad in black wood, the plinth has 3 large discs of sorbothane for isolation and a 3- spiked platter sits on top: cast phosphor/bronze for mass then thick acrylic with the same resonance as vinyl on top plus a heavy clamp made of phosphor/bronze. SME mark IV arm and Koetsu Red cartridge. The review was top notch... as you can imagine and looks super in matte black and shiny brass/clear acrylic
