Intergrated amp suggestions

I have VR 4.5s in a 2nd system. Any suggestion what Intergrated amp would be a great match. Have a Rogue Cronus 2 currently which sounds pretty good but would like other suggestions under 3500 used.

If you want an "aspirational" integrated, be patient and wait for an underpriced Modwright KWH 225i to come up. They're close to $10k new, but I've seen preowned examples sell for under $4k from private sellers on USAudiomart and Audiogon. There are a couple available now for around $5k. Changing from a Class D NAD M32 (Masters Series) to the Class A/B KWH 225i was the single biggest improvement I've ever seen from a component change. It has a triode front end and a solid state output stage, and it provides an absolutely solid grip on the speakers.

You can buy a brand new Kinki Studio EX-M1 or M1+ for less. Great integrated with 200wpc.

A little late to the party but if the KWH225 is too much money, consider the KWI 200. It may not have the warmth of the 225 but it definitely has the Modwright sound and that's a good thing! Relatively rare on the used market but they do come up. As far as comparing to other (WAY more expensive) high end integrated amps, it dances just fine.

I would look for a used Marantz PM-KI Ruby Integrated amp.  I heard this amp about 3 years ago and I was blown away by its fabulous mid range, beautiful tone and texture.  Ken Ishiwata who designed this had a great love for great midrange tone and this amp has it in spades. Piano sounds the best that I have heard regardless of price. I would have bought it but it has no sub out and you need a sub with speaker level inputs.  I use dual subs with my Maggies.

It is very conservatively rated at 100 wpc at 8 ohms and 200 at 4 ohms but it puts out way more power.  Here is a great review-

When I down size from separates to an Integrated, I will be looking for a used one as they are no longer in production.

I have a friend that has that Cronus integrated and the Marantz sounds so much better.  All the Marantz KI Ruby gear is fabulous IMHO.

..I’d be hard pressed not to recommend the Primaluna EVO 300 Hybrid Integrated
