I bought this as a dealer demo. It had both 6Tb of internal drive space loaded with music. Now one of the drives refuses to mount and I can only stream from the other drive which has 1900 and some albums. I don’t know how to reformat the discs so you can add your own data so it is sold as is. There is really no issues other than that.  You must hard wire it with Ethernet. No WiFi. And you must use USB for the digital output. I believe it has another input to support an NAS system and I will double check if this is important for you. I also believe the internal drives can be upgraded to 8 or 10 Tb each giving you 20 Tb storage
The unit is in excellent shape it’s sat on the top shelf of my stand since it was purchased several years ago. The software is excellent. At one time before the drive gave gave me trouble I had 11,000 albums and it didn’t run slow or hang up on search functions or album art.  The newest update which I didn’t run has Roon support and I think it supports MQA. Not positive but it should be upgraded. It’s a snap to operate. The player tells you what address to put into the entry box of the Home Screen of the software and you are ready to go.  It sounds very good. The only thing I’ve had that compares to it is the Auralic Aries Femto w/ deluxe power supply. They both are very good and I can’t really say I hear any differences but my ears are almost 70 years old and they have severe attenuation after 12kHz. Plus the comparison  isn’t fair because the Aurender has internal storage where the Auralic needs externally sourced data.

So I’m asking $1300 with not very much wiggling room. I need a local pickup 20miles North of Detroit.

Big Red Machine

This is an excellent sounding and performing unit. I replaced the hard drives and had no issues doing so. I wanted all the music on one drive, so I put in an 8 TB drive and then copied that (and regularly copy the main to this) as a back-up and put it in a fire safe.

YOu can see the unit on the home network and copy right to it from your laptop.

SOunds fantastic. If you are using a laptop with JRiver, as I did, the sound is 1000 times better with this. Grab an Ipad and away you go as your music control. Very sweet.
