The whole board is the radiating diaphragm; there really isn't a baffle.
I wouldn't call it dipole radiation either, since the edges are vibrating and producing sound to the sides, unlike traditional dipole speaker with non-vibrating baffle. It definitely radiates front and back, but I would guess it's more omni-ish than dipole. But the tone quality front and back will be different from the sound coming from the edges.
Motor placement on the board definitely affects tone quality, regardless of radiation pattern. It may affect radiation pattern itself to some degree also.
If you hang it on a wall it will definitely not be dipole.
