New pricing for 2024
« on: 3 Jun 2024, 12:26 am »

Sorry for being so quiet on the forum... it's been a busy year!
It's also been several years since we adjusted pricing and our costs have gone through the roof. Many parts have doubled in price over the last three years!
On another note I have solid help in the shop now but we are only making a VERY limited number of systems a year, so please if you want a set of Daedalus communicate with me about potential lead time.
Thanks much and I hope to see you at one of the shows I am promoting and associated with, PAF, SWAF and CAF

Good morning Lou
I hope I do well to write here, in case we can message privately.
My name is Dario, from Milano Italy, I have a pair of Ulysses from 2014-15, in the V2 version, I wanted to know if for the V3 version it is necessary for you to physically have the speakers or is it possible to do it remotely, with the correct instructions ??
I will never be able to ship my Ulysses to the USA, so I wanted to understand if and how it is possible to upgrade to V3.
Last question, the Bows haven't changed, I guess!
Thank you for your kind reply, I find your speakers splendid for the way they offer the musical programme

regards, Dario

hi Dario,
It is a major undertaking to update the XO in that model, akin to building a ship in a bottle.....
The major difference is a modofication on the midrange driver and I don't think it is worth doing unless there is some other work needed.
ANd no the BOW have not changed.

thanks,
Lou

If you don’t have the BOWs, I would jump on them. For me, it was a bigger upgrade than going from the Orpheus to the Zeus.

As for the pricing, this is much more reasonable than some of the other hikes I have been seeing in audio. I would hate to have to build a system from scratch today.

I had to miss SWAF this year, but I will not miss next year.
