Any interest in a one-channel Spectron Audio Musician III Signature Edition MK2?

I have a Spectron Audio Musician III Signature Edition MK2 that has developed what is unfortunately a fairly common issue: the left hand channel sometimes doesn't work, and it sounds like it's playing at an extremely low volume, with distortion. Sometimes the left hand channel does work though, and when it does, the amp sounds wonderful.

Back when I was using the amp in my system, I found a way to temporarily "clear out" the issue with the left hand channel not playing, and to restore it so it played normally. To do this, I would play some loud, bass-heavy music, and I would turn up the volume on my system much higher than I normally would. When I did this, the left hand channel would eventually start working again, it was as if it had to clear something out of its pipes. Maybe bad capacitors somewhere? Who knows. In any case, the last time I tried to do this, I ended up blowing the voicecoil of my woofer. After that, I decided it was time to get a new amp. Since then, the Spectron has been taking up space in my closet.

If anybody here is interested in the amp, either because they think they want to get it fixed (there's a shop out in San Francisco that someone says fixed theirs), or because they want to use it as a single channel amplifier (for a subwoofer perhaps), I'd be happy to give it to you if you're willing to pick it up from my place in Cambridge MA. If you'd be willing to pay even a nominal amount for it I would gladly take it, but I'm happy to give it away for free. I just don't want a semi-functional piece of gear to go to waste- there's a lot of nice components in it.

If you'd be interested in it, please DM me.

Hello, We are extremely interested in your Amp if it is still available. Although you are a few hours away, we are happy to drive to get it. Thank you
Carl.
