Why not repurpose something?
This was $100 from a neighbor.  I knocked the back out and added a metal cross bar.

Oh so very true :thumb:

Re-purposing furniture can certainly bring unique aesthetics and utility to your audio equipment. Many years ago I was fortunate to come across an antique sideboard at a local Flea Market - if I remember correctly, it was around the $300 range. Built like a tank and complete with a stone top, it provides a solid base for your gear to sit on. I was on the fence about placing the mono-blocks inside, but this would require removing the back and adding ventilation to the cabinet.

Be well...

Ikea has some solid pieces that are cheap.  Another thought is TimberNation where you can find reasonably priced pieces if you shop carefully.

We used Timbernation earlier this year. PM me if you are interested in our outcome. I wouldn't call them inexpensive; however, they arere considerably LESS expensive than the upscale / high end racks.

I mentioned the Ikea Lack but if you dig into the specs it is only rated for 44 lbs.  LOL as I have 9 tuners on mine and I would guess they weigh a combined 70-80 lbs.

If i were shopping for a rack today I would have the Monolith 4 tier heavy duty unit very high on my list.  It weighs 85 lbs and is rated for 350 lbs!  Plus that espresso unit on Amazon is now down to $150.  The epitome of C&C, eh?

I have 2 different sized Monolith stands (from Monoprice). Inexpensive and work great.

I have a pair of audiophile racks I have no need for.  Got them at a going out of business sale.

Very high end but I got them for very little, relatively speaking.  Mid-Atlantic U.S. area.

They are by this brand but not this model.
