Opinions on Revel M126be
« on: 27 Aug 2023, 06:52 pm »
Hi,
I've just started to put together a 2-channel system in a smallish [12x12],and doubtless acoustically challenging room--fireplace, radiator, etc.  I think floor standers are overkill and I've bought [but haven't taken possession of] a pair of Revel Performa M126be stand mounts. I have a Yamaha 801 integrated and a Rotel 1572CD player now hooked to B&W 606 S2 Anniversary speakers.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to AC!  If one has stand mount speakers (unless one already has a good set of stands), the stands are important.  There are small floorstanding speakers like Ohm Microwalsh Talls or Totem Arro speakers.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Suggest getting stands that set the tweeter to listening ear level and are heavy to avoid tip overs.  I used Timber Nation to order customized stands that I filled with 50 pounds of play sand in each.
