37 Guests (at that point of this thread creation) for The Music Circle. Most of the time, highest is usually in the 20's (23 just now).

In the lasts years the people who like share tech info and his personal experiêncy was reduced IMO, maybe current audio fan dont know much or dont want sharé his experiêncy

I've been a member here for a lot of years and have noticed the decline in members online. The problem I see is the format here is not as friendly as many other sites. If you look at the home page the posts just aren't there. The last thread on page one received its last post 19 hours ago. That's the sign of a very slow forum. My two cents.

Well a porno sex forum will have more traffic certainly but not audio.
I believe what you mention as format is the forum screen looking what depend on the Forum Software used in case here Simple Machine Inc its not Admin fault, for a new member it will take some 6 to 8 hours to get used with the knobs and the Circles, there is worse softwares being used out there as in the DIY Forum where you have to pay $ per year to store photos and features we have here for free.

This Forum is very well structured in a great job from the Admin, it is a very comprehensive Forum, covering a wide range of subjects and interests that I have never seen elsewhere online as Audio, HT, Cinema, Tubes equips, photography, music, musical instruments and musicians, food and cooking, nutrition and health, sports, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, computers, information technology, personal affairs and sales ads without sales tax.

I was a member in other forum that closed doors by the new Euro 13 regulations that asked 50 post and 6 months old to post a sale ad in the classifieds area.

So by what I have seen here AC since Iam here this is the best modeled Forum on the internet and add to it the rules of conduct here are incredibly tolerant, you dont know how, very but very friendly and tolerant.

However I have noticed that in recent years the IQ level of the members has decreased, perhaps because they spend hours whatching TV everyday, are younger and less experienced and used to use only cell phones, not a desktop computer. IMO.

The only thing that may make it slower than other boards is that it seems more geared toward certain brands (which I like) versus general topic discussion. If the general topics were more forward and dominated the discussions there would be more traffic imo. But that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Other boards with much more traffic can be very snarky and require much more from the moderators.

It was the HTForum.com.br it closed and now it was replaced by a similar name HTForum.net small forum.

If you want add a such new Circle you like just ask to the Admin and it will be created.

I kind of enjoy that this site isn't as populated as some of the others makes it less noisy and chaotic. Think of it as suburbs not big city downtown. I feel the discussion and advice given here is a little more well thought out and generally sound than elsewhere which needs to be taken with a grain of salt and ymmv. That being said, I think an increase in new people could be fun so long as they understand the general culture this site has brought forth.

Forum owners can set their own limits on selling items after so many posts. It makes sense to slow down those who join just to sell something and bounce. 50 posts/6 months might be asking too much from members.

It's good that we have vendors here. We get a direct customer service with them.

But, you are right: we need more general topics discussed. We don't need new Circles; in fact, some can be combined. If we need to add new Circles, we need a good purpose for it.

I disagree with what was said: I don't believe it's an IQ problem; it's a mentality problem. If you can't be civil and respectful, it doesn't matter how "educated"  they are. I know "educated" people that have a poor mentality. I know "experienced" people that have a poor mentality. I know "older" people that have a poor mentality.

I agree. I like going shopping in general with less people around. I like eating in peace.

I only joined AudioCircle today. I’m 71 with a moderate mentality ,not a genius. I became involved with higher end Audio when I retired five years ago. I recently purchased a pair of Maraschino Cherry monos. I was told by a friend that there’s a lot of info concerning the Digital Audio Company on this forum. I don’t really know how to navigate all of this right now, bear with me. I always treat others with what ever level of respect they deserve. I don’t care for mean people.
