i have know idea what i'm doing as far as headphones go

using ava t8+ pre w/ headphone jack

Output impedance is 30 ohms so any headphones will work except full range electrostatic types.

I’m a sennheiser hd600 fan unless you need massive amounts of bass. It’s my go to headphone for most anything.  Grado makes several good headphones in that price range and Beyerdynamic dt770 pros if you want something a bit bassier.
