:nono: I might ruffle too many feathers by listing some the amps I have owned.  :nono:

The clarity of the Clari-T makes all my former Stereophile so called Class A rated amps sound like they were holding back texture and tone, lossing a lot of detail along the way.  Fairwell tubes, you just ain't good enough anymore!

Not a fair comparison, because the HCA-2 is NOT compatible with the Clari-T.  150 watts vs. 6 watts doesn't seem fair.  However, the 6 watts with my homebrew Fostexes had me sell my complex, power/power hungry arrangement Immediately.  With the Druids, there is nothing the 6 watts doesn't do better.  Nothing.

Nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I am happily using the Teac chip amp for the second rig, powering some Danes.

For the main system, well, the Musical Fidelity A3.2 has trounced anything thrown at it; be it the Teac, the F-10 from JVC, or the Sony "magic box".
