He was known for his laid-back style and for his influence on, among others, Miles Davis, who once said, “All my inspiration comes from Ahmad Jamal.”

one of the most lyrical jazz pianists

he lived a long and full life, we should all be lucky enough to see 92 years

A favorite on piano, so smooth. Truly sad news, but his music will live on, and it was as jjss49 says a good run. Rest In Peace Ahmad.
