April 1, 2023 Hapa Torsion Speaker Cable Review Update

I enthusiastically reviewed the latest Hapa cables but I missed an exciting feature Jason included in his Torsion speaker cable design - lights!

No more fumbling around in the dark, the cable mood lighting really enhances the listing experience. I have to give credit to Eric for pointing out this feature, it's easy to miss on one of the large ferrules. The three position switch has three options: Off, On, and Flashing in time with the bass beat (my favorite) that turns your room into a disco.

Read my Hapa cable loom review, add lights and these cables are an even bigger WOW!

 :lol:

I missed an opportunity with this one. Seems like most of my competitors are putting all kinds of superfluous crap on their cables. LED lights might be just the ticket for higher level of voodoo magic to make things sound better!

A+++ Wayne!  :green:

You can really "see" into the recording then?  :scratch: That being said, I hope they don't sound too "bright". :lol: Classic.

Jason has that problem solved, the 3-position switch changes the color too (remote extra):
Blue for Cool
Red for Warm
White for Neutral

I wouldn't be surprised if Jason sells more Hapa Torsion Lustre© cables than the standard.

I'm imagining an ad in The Absolute Sound with an all McIntosch system with rack of blue lights in a dim room and the blue Torsion's snaking to the speakers on Hapa Elevators. Those Mac guys will pay anything to have that look.

What if I actually want something like that?

What if I actually want something like that?

Then all you have to do is ask.  :green:

This is no April fools, when I was experimenting with the build of Dreddz headphone cables I used glow in the dark nylon paracord for one of my builds and it was absolutely awesome!  :lol:

Reality is stranger than fiction I suppose.  :green:
