Arrived today
Listened to it immediately, incredible, if you appreciate Santana's Borboletta this recording is spectacular, realism, cleanliness, dynamics, very high quality. . .

I didn't know about this one. There's so much music out there and so little time to enjoy it all.

Interesting how the Japanese translated Boroletta as "not dead butterfly" or possibly 'undying butterfly'? Dunno. I majored in Mandarin Chinese which permits me to get the gist of a fair amount of written Japanese.

Hello
Congratulations on your knowledge of Japanese, languages open up great possibilities for cultural deepening.
For my preferences, I have always loved Santana's music, one of his 6-7 works that I would never want to miss if I moved to a desert island . . . Together with Caravanserai, one of the works that veers more towards world music and jazz flavors, peppered with its South American heritage.
A great CD, here in a qualitatively superb pour. Fortunately there are still the Japanese to print CDs and SACDs of high level, and with my Esoteric the quality comes out clearly when listening.
greetings , Dario

Hello to Everyone
I've been busy on other topics and activities that have denied me listening and rehearsals for the past 15 days, but with the new year, I'll resume posting more frequently, I have several things in mind, a rehearsal with liquid music, to assess its practicality and practicability, and more....
I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and above all a 2025 full of satisfaction, even in the reproduction of music. I leave you with a Christmas photo, my beautiful Persian cat Matisse, no longer with me, listening to music in the old sound system, with the ProAc Future 0.5, one of the speakers to which I owe a lot in having understood the magic of the reproduced sound.
Obviously the Daedalus Ulysses are of another level, as well as all the rest of my audio system, we are talking about over 7-8 years ago now!

P.S. I apologize for the not very good quality of the image

Merry Christmas!

I have no photo to share, and I have little or no music to listen to over the holidays. However, I get to spend many days with my 5-month old grandson. What a treat!

Good morning everyone
My best wishes for a peaceful New Year
May 2025 bring happiness, positive news and a lots of good music, to be listened to, to be experienced live and that always accompanies the rhythm of our daily time.
Incidentally, 2 years ahead of schedule, from today I am a free early retiree, and I will be able to devote more time to Music, to targeted listening, to the evaluations of new projects, such as liquid, streaming and more . . .
greetings , Dario

The Hi Fi system is a construction site that is always open . . .
I received a pair of Skogrand Tchaikovsky MKII speaker cables, inserted between the Gryphon power amp and the Ulysses, very interesting . . .
Rich, harmonic, natural, refined sound, to be deepened and compared with Tyr Nordost
The only small drawback, they are a bit rigid cables and to be supported in positioning, they should not be bent abruptly
Happy Sunday Dario

Good morning everyone
it's been a while since my last post, but I've had so many commitments with high priority compared to hobbies . . .
In the meantime I had the opportunity to listen to the latest Esoteric player K-01 XD SE, I really like it for how it delivers the music, nothing overwhelming compared to my K-01 X, but slightly different and distinguishable sounds, as soon as it is connected, some considerations will follow

greetings, Dario

Look forward to your impressions,Dario.

I have been without my audio system for nearly five months as I have been with my grandson. Soon, I will be able to listen to beautiful music.
