Hey everyone my name is Billy. I am new to the audiophile community. I’m very interested in the diy space and have purchased my first kit from gr research. I’m here to learn more from everyone and to learn how to create my own home audio system. Thanks in advance for your patience and help👍🏻🤘🏻

Welcome!

Have you explored active monitors?  They use a sophisticated low voltage crossover to feed one channel of amplification per driver for better dynamics, bass extension per cabinet size, and greater precision.  Desktop JBL 305 Mk2 ($300/pair) is one example that sounds great and fills a medium sized room.  More expensive ones add DAC's, wireless connection, and room correction DSP.  Just add a source or two.  No power amp, speaker cables, or a stack of drivers needed.  Not your backyard/garage endeavor though.
