While I was playing this, my wife jogged by me with her hands up the air and a menacing look on her face.
I keep waiting for Maynard Ferguson big entrance. I play Gonna Fly Now once a month on early Sunday mornings.

This song is not a american song. Here the original popular Russian song composed by Boris Fomin with lyrics by poet Konstantin Podrevsk, sung by Alexander Vertinsky and piano, who first recorded By the Long Road in 1926. Eugene Raskin used this song for Those were the days version. Popularised by Mary Hopkins released 42 years later.
