Hmmm,... Jason. Your here only 15 days and you want a Circle already ? What took you so long ? ( I'm still waiting for my wolf circle.... :? ).
Your amps are just out to AC members now. I think I'd wait till the reviews start coming in....but...I could be wrong....its past 3AM EST...so it is late. [/list:u]

Oh man, I am too busy.  The second pair were sent to another member for audition today.  But there are some other people who already bought the NuForce amp and posted their feedback here (we sold out our earlier productions to users outside of US before we have anything). Some US users are just starting to receive the amp. The demand totally caught us offguard.  But we'll fix it by end of May.

Did you miss my point ? Your posts have been about your product....all well and good....but many on this site consider it to be like a community. And they answer many questions about many subjects....give advice, ect.(and in different Circle's).
Your here 15 days....kind of quick for a Circle. I think they like to get to know somebody...... 8) [/list:u]
The quickest one (that I can remember) to get a Circle was Vinnie from Red Wine Audio. He was all over the place answering questions and giving advice... here, there, and everywhere....nice !!! I think people like that.[/list:u]
Glad to hear your busy....looking forward to hearing and reading more about your amps !!! :thumb: [/list:u]
          ......just my opinion...."lonewolf"[/list:u]

LW is correct.. generally people will post helpful replies in other forums so others can get to know Nuforce/Jason better and then after a while a vote is held, and THEN there's a circle created.

Manufacturer's Circles are generally 'earned' and not 'given'.

I have sent Nuforce a PM asking him to contact JohnR for more info.

I think a circle is needed when there are a lot of interest in the community. I personally are not that knowledgable or have the time to post everywhere in this community.  But more and more NuForce users will want to share their knowledge about compatibility of equipment (or tweeks) etc.  Without a NuForce circle (look, the NuForce thread has become one of the most discussed and viewed thread), users are either going to create their own topics all over or eventually NuForce have to create a bbs on our website.  Hey, I am also the website and IT guy for our little company.  Pitty me and allow NuForce to have a home here :).  I already have enough work to do.

Oh, I missed the point LW was making. I didn't realize that I personally has to be very active to get a circle. I thought the need for a circle is depending on the interest of the users here.  I am a newbie here.
By the way, Cryotweaks is posting everywhere :), he is my proxy

I see he's selling your amps too.  That's OK, just clearing the air.

Seems quick to me.  There has been a lot of discussion in the thread NuForce has going, but almost none of it is based on first-hand experience.  There are a few owners/testers with many posts and a lot of breeze.

As to manufacturers' outside participation in other parts of AC, I'd say most don't spend a lot of time outside their own circles, as they are probably very busy with their primary businesses and don't have a lot of time to browse (unlike me at this moment   )

My vote is no for the moment, though these guys seem serious and it will probably be warranted sooner rather than later.

I think Nuforce has been very helpful to answering questions around here at AC, that's why I voted yes.

Provided they stick around and participate in the long haul, my vote is "yes."

i think a minimum wait time before a circle is given is a must-we just give them to anyone and in a few months they forget to come around(alex)-

let them prove they want to be part of ac like vinny did-then ask about a circle

No matter if/when they get a circle, I would recommend that any Nuforce employees get separate AC login IDs instead of all sharing the "nuforce" login ID.  I'm not positive, but there have been several times that it appeared that people other than Jason have posted under the "nuforce" login ID.  This gets confusing.

I voted yes, based on their attitude and responsiveness.  Nuforce seems less on "marketing" to audiocircle and more genuine in sharing information, which is what AC is all about...

Why make this difficult? It's very simple. Let them in now.

NuForce has a very promising product and a refreshing philosophy that benefits all audio enthusiasts. We can all benefit from the discussions surrounding their current and future products.  Thus far their participation has been a real positive - quick replies, technically astute without sounding arrogant, condescending and self-serving.

What is the risk? I don't see it. I see a win-win situation. Worst case is no worst than has occured to others who have faded away from lack of interest.  I don't see that happening. Digital amps are a big part of what's to come. It's nice to have a company who can provide some feedback and direction.

Come on mates! Let them in.

Nope here...and I seem to be in very small minority.

Great products alone are not enough to merit a circle. Manufacturers that abandon their Circle we don't need....Nuforce has not been long enough a member of the Audio Circle community to earn my confidence that they will attend to their postings on a would-be Nuforce circle, to earn my 'yes'.

I'm fascinated by the technology, but we simply do not know Jason's /NuForce's level of committment to the community here or his attention span in maintaining a circle.

Time and seasoning proves many things out and I think the time to earn a circle here is premature.

Sorry to be the party-pooper, but my experience with over-eager, hi-fliers has been that the hangover is at the least the equal of, and sometimes greater than, the binge (to borrow a choice phrase from Warren Buffett)

If Jason sticks around and participates actively in discussions here for a couple months, and THEN asks for a circle, what exactly has been lost?  They won't ban you from visiting their website in the meantime.  And, if we deny them a circle now and they leave never to be heard from again, their committment to AC was fleeting anyhow.

As sincerely as possible, this is not at all personal.   Just prudent and fair to the other manufacturers that have asked for a circle in the past.

Let me state clearly that I can not guarantee that I will personally be able to spend a lot of time here.  As the company grows, I will have less time available.  The way I see it, NuForce circle is not a Jason circle.  It is for NuForce's users to have a more focused place to share information. NuForce employees will participate (and I will ask them to sign off with their name) to provide information.  Many of the NuForce users are long time AC members. We have received so many orders because of the exposure here and there will be many users who are going to provide feedback.
If we become a giant some day, would we abondon AC ? As long as I am around, the answer is NO.  To be successful, we need to be closed to the community, listen to feedback and ideas. Otherwise, we'll be sitting duck and there will be another company that comes along and take our place.
